Lee-Kuang Yu

Born in 1954, after completing sculpture training in Taiwan in the mid-70s, he continued practicing sculpture creation in Spain. After finishing his studies and returning to Taiwan, he began teaching at the National Taipei National University of the Arts until 2006, when he retired, and has been creating ever since. Through fusing modern and traditional compositional thought, Kuang-Yu Lee's work seems to have an impressionistic method of composition, combined with Eastern culture in artistic creation, which has shaped his rich, unique individual sculptural aesthetic style.

Ho Kan

Jessica Pi-Hua Hsu

Jessica Pi-Hua Hsu was born in Taiwan in 1957. In 1987 she did graduate study in the History of Art at the University of California, Berkley, U.S.A. In 1989 she majored in painting at the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston, U.S.A.

Hsu’s arts have multiple cultural visions that reflect both Eastern and Western aesthetic vigor, as well as traditional and contemporary sustenance. Her life philosophy and creative style which emphasizes "reduction" provides energy to her "literary abstract paintings" which are grand, carefree, and spacious. Hsu is a prolific abstract artist who specializes in mixed media creation and cross-disciplinary collaboration. She often channels her originality through Chinese flower arrangement research. Her style contains western minimalism, bright colors, and the energetic rhythm of Chinese calligraphy.

Ching-Hui Chou

After graduating from Shih Hsin School of Journalism.Ching-hui Chou joined the fast-paced media industry as a photo journalist in 1988.During this time, the industry had just begun to thrive with newfound freedom of speech as a result of the lifting of multi-decade-long martial law in Taiwan. It was also at this time that Chou started to pursue his passion for photojournalism and embarked on several self-funded projects. These include Frozen in Time: Images of a Leper Colony, Vanishing Leagues: Images of Workers and Wild Aspirations: The Yellow Sheep River Project, to name just a few. His unique way of looking at things and outstanding execution of these projects soon won him recognitions such as Taipei’s Annual Journalism Award in Photography, the Silver Medal in reportorial photography at the ROC International Photographic Art Exhibition, the Special Award in reportorial photography at Taipei Photography Festival, and the Golden Tripod Awards. His project-turned-photography book The Yellow Sheep River Project further made him recipient of the Golden Butterfly Awards, the Red Dot Design Award, and the iF Communication Design Award. In addition to curatorial and publication projects,Ching-hui Chou continues to undertake photography projects of his chosen topics.
